The secret to a perfect paint line isn’t when you peel the tape. It’s what you do BEFORE you paint. First of all, I’ve never understood this advice of “peel it immediately after painting” Sure if you do it immediately, you can wipe the wet paint off of the baseboard before it dries, but does everyone who gives this advice only do one coat of paint? Idk about you, but even when I use “one-coat” paint, I always do 2 coats. Unless you’re peeling it after each coat and retaping in between, pulling i
