In the UK, The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) includes menopause management in its curriculum, requiring all GP trainees to demonstrate competency in this area to practice independently. I have to be completely honest and say that general practice training is on job experience; after 5 years in med school where yes we may have had some lectures on menopause, 2 years in general jobs in hospital we then go into another minimum of 3 years GP training which involves a random selection
