The final stage of the engagement process- Challenger 2 (if Gunner firing): Gunner lays aiming mark onto the center of the observed mass and lases the target (at this point the fire control computer works out the ballistic solution for the target) The Gunner waits for the report of "LOADED" and announces "FIRING" as he presses the firing switch.
