There is no secret pattern that will unlock some new level of an improvisation skill. If you have this book or any other pattern book, my suggestion is to approach the patterns as practice material. The best place to find patterns is from other recordings. When you hear one you like -- copy it, learn, and start to use it. | Better Sax
