This tutorial demonstrates the basic functionality of a Git repository and demonstrates how to sign-up for a BitBucket account, create a repository, access it in the SourceTree GUI client and then how to commit changes and see what changes you've made. The tutorial is done in Windows 10, but should work and be applicable for Mac OS X as well.
