Learn more about the Springboard! 🪓 Athletes place two springboards into pockets cut into a vertically mounted log in this discipline. The goal is to chop through a block of wood at the top of the log. Athletes first cut a pocket at shoulder height, slot the first springboard into it, and stand on the board to cut a second pocket higher up. Standing on the second springboard, about two meters high, they chop through the block from both sides. The Springboard is one of the toughest disciplines.
