Incredible! Yesterday, a vintage Consolidated PBY Catalina flying boat took flight from the waters of Pearl Harbor in preparation for the 75th Commemoration of the End of WWII. The Consolidated/Boeing Canada PBY Catalina was used for long range patrol and reconnaissance missions, antisubmarine warfare, as well as search and rescue.
