Google has recently launched a series of productivity-enhancing features for Chrome, including a split-view mode for multitasking and automatic PDF backup to Drive.

Multitasking in Chrome just got a whole lot better.

Google is rolling out three Chrome upgrades: split view for side-by-side tabs, built-in PDF highlighting and notes, plus one-click Save to Drive.

Gemini now works in split screen on regular phones, letting you interact with other apps side by side with no overlay needed.
